About Michael Sean Mansmann
Specialist Michael Sean Mansmann retired from the Army in December 2008 after 3 years of service. On August 21st, 2005, he left for Fort Sill, Oklahoma to complete 16 weeks of basic training and AIT (OSUT). Upon graduating in December 2005, he received his MOS in 13F Fire Support Specialist. From there, he was then assigned to 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas. In October 2006, he was deployed to Camp Taji in Baghdad, Iraq.
Achievements and Special Duties
During his time, he earned several achievements and special duties including Fire and Effects Coordination Cell, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, and Coordinated joint air support for Battle of Najaf in 2007.
