Clemson’s Marketing Research Club

CU Insights is a marketing research Creative Inquiry that provides students with hands-on experience to prepare them for a career in marketing research and consumer insights.

Students will work both individually and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality research results, gaining valuable insights into the field of marketing research.

Through training, networking opportunities, an industry trip, and hosting Insights Week, students will begin to develop the skills and connections necessary for a successful career in marketing research or related fields.

Industry Projects

CU Insights takes learning outside of the classroom.

Our students engage in research projects from their very beginning all the way to the final presentations. By working directly with companies, students receive feedback from clients and develop the skill set necessary to thrive.

We help companies locate and solve their business problems with new data, all while expanding student skills.

Academic Projects

Just as marketing research is not limited to industry projects, CU Insights also produces academic research.

By joining forces with professors on academic projects, students can hone skills in research methods less focused on fast paced results.

Students also have the unique opportunity to present their academic projects at academic conferences.

2024-2025 Academic Year Projects

Moral Brandstanding: An Academic Project

By investigating the conjuncture of brands and moral grandstanding—making statements to appear as more moral to others—we can better understand how consumer perceptions change due to brand’s engagement with moral or political movements.

SCCT, The South Carolina Children’s Theater

SCCT is empowering and inspiring new generations through theater, and we are proud to work with them in the Fall 2024 semester. Our students will work with SCCT’s marketing team to explore their consumer base.

Clemson’s Creative Inquiry

For the Fall 2024 Semester, CU Insights is working with Creative Inquiry to explore questions of student engagement and participation.

Insights Week is held during the Spring semester.
